An online chair brand with regional stores and US dollar pricing
HBADA sells its chairs directly through its own web store. The US version of the site shows prices in US dollars, and a country selector offers separate storefronts for the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom, a European English store, Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal, and Japan. The site says HBADA products are sold in more than 100 countries, and the about page says 10 million+ users worldwide have chosen the brand. The footer credits the site to HBD TECHNOLOGY INC. The site does not say where that company is registered or where the chairs are made.
The trust strip on every page lists a 30-day in-home trial, free 2-5 business-day shipping, a 5-year warranty and 24/7 customer support. Elsewhere the homepage phrases the returns promise more narrowly, as 30-day returns "For Non-Customer-Related Issues", so a buyer planning to use the trial should read the refund policy before ordering. The site also advertises a 70-Day Price Guarantee, worded as "Price Drops? We’ll Refund the Difference." Support runs through service@hbada.com and a US toll-free line, +1 (866) 808-5708, answered from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM EDT on business days. Klarna financing and an ID.me program appear in the footer, along with rewards, referral, affiliate and review programs and a bulk order page.
Company history as the brand tells it
The about page describes HBADA as a company with 16 years of ergonomic exports. Its timeline says HBADA Group was founded in 2010, "pioneering adjustable-angle technology in computer chairs", moved into independent research and development in 2011, and expanded into European, American, Japanese and Southeast Asian markets in 2016. It says the P2 Ergonomic Office Chair launched in 2018, a wings-style 3-zone lumbar support followed in 2021, and the E3 arrived in 2022 with what HBADA calls the world's first 3-zone elastic lumbar support with 22 adjustable settings. The E3 PRO and a T-shape support system followed in 2023, and the X7, which the brand calls "the world's first intelligent lumbar chair", in 2024. The page says HBADA has run a dedicated technology lab since its founding and that it makes height-adjustable desks as well as chairs.
The lineup and the prices the site showed
The range is split into the E3 Series and the X7 Series, with the P2 as the entry model and a clearance section. The prices below are the sale prices the site displayed during its Fall Sale, which it advertised as running Sep. 11 to Sep. 28 with up to $470 off. Regular prices were shown alongside them.
- P2: from $199.00, regular price $346.00.
- E3 Air 2026: from $379.00, regular $499.00, sold under the line "Elite Comfort. Within Reach." A pink version is also listed.
- E3 Pro 2026: from $519.00, regular $659.00, marketed with "World's First 3-Zone Elastic Lumbar with Gliding Sacral."
- E3 Ultra: $549.00, regular $809.00, which the site calls "Fully-Adjustable, Built for Bigger Bodies."
- X7: from $999.00, regular $1,399.00. The homepage shows the X7 Gray at $1,169.00 and the X7 Black at $1,329.00, each against a regular $1,509.00.
- X7 Air: $999.00, regular $1,399.00, described as "Full AI Lumbar Tracking, Lighter Frame."
- X7 Prestige: $1,629.00, regular $2,099.00, listed as a pre-order with "Supercar Leather. Foldable Lumbar Wings. Full AI."
The site brands the E3 Series as the "Best Ergonomic Office Chair Under $500", though the E3 Ultra and E3 Pro were listed above that figure at the time.
What the lumbar systems are, in HBADA's words
Lumbar support is the whole pitch, which is why the brand belongs in this category. On the E3 side, the site's feature list names 3-Zone Elastic Lumbar Support, and the E3 Pro page line adds a "Gliding Sacral" element. The about page says the E3's lumbar support has 22 adjustable settings. On the X7 side, the feature list names Automatic Lumbar Tracking, Smart Posture Memory and 8D Dual-Core Bionic Massage, and the site calls the X7 "The World's First AI Lumbar-Tracking Ergonomic Chair". It also lists a mesh it calls CloudMesh.
What the site does not do on these pages is explain the mechanism. It does not say what the X7 senses, how the tracking moves the lumbar pad, how far it travels, or whether the tracking can be switched off, and it gives no seat height range, seat depth, weight rating or dimensions for any model. The about page describes the product idea as chairs that "conform to users rather than requiring user adaptation", which is a design goal rather than a specification. Buyers who need numbers should expect to find them on individual product pages or ask support.
Health claims and endorsements
HBADA markets itself heavily on health. Its about page carries the slogan "Sit Well, Stay Healthy", its brand mission is "Continuous efforts for human health", and a homepage section is titled "Better Posture. Better Health." The site says it has set up an Ergonomic Medical Advisory Committee and quotes Dr. Dennis Miller, whom it describes as a chiropractor of the International Chiropractic Association, saying the E3's three-zone lumbar support and neck pillow help "maintain the natural physiological curvature of the spine and relieve spinal pressure." These are the brand's claims and its chosen endorser's words. The site also says the chairs are certified by the German IGR ergonomics association and that every chair undergoes over 100,000 tests, without describing the test.
Warranty terms
The Warranty & Service page is more detailed than most in this price range. Coverage runs from the date of delivery. For the E3 Series (E3 Pro, E3 Ultra, E3 Air) and the X7 Series, the core load-bearing parts, meaning the 5-star base, gas lift and casters, carry a 5-year warranty, and other components such as the mechanism, arms and backrest carry 3 years. Other series, including the P, J and E2, get 3 years on everything. The 3-year cover lists failures of the tilt mechanism, height adjustment levers and lumbar support system, armrest adjustment failures and backrest frame problems. Excluded are normal wear such as mesh or fabric aging, fading and pilling, cosmetic damage after assembly, misuse and overloading, commercial or rental use, and chairs bought from unauthorized third-party sellers. The warranty applies to purchases from hbada.com.
Claims work by remote diagnosis from photos or videos, after which HBADA ships free replacement parts with video guides or PDF manuals rather than taking the chair back. The about page, by contrast, mentions "a 3-year extended warranty", so the warranty page is the one to rely on.
Who HBADA suits
HBADA fits a buyer who wants a lumbar-focused chair bought online, with a clear price ladder from the P2 at $199.00 to the X7 Prestige at $1,629.00 and a published parts-based warranty. The E3 line is the mid-priced route, with its adjustable 3-zone lumbar; the X7 line is for buyers drawn to automatic lumbar tracking and built-in massage. The gaps are specifications and technical detail on how the AI tracking works, and the health language on the site should be read as marketing.
